Survey

This is the answers to the survey I had everyone do and for what language we took we had a tie between French and Spanish with 10 each. One person doesn't take a language. Five people want to learn Spanish, ten want to learn German and five want to learn French. The languages people know are German, French and two people know Bosnian. Eighteen people don't know a second language already.

The Brain

The brain has many different parts. I chose to research language in the brain. The language part of the brain is located at the left temporal lobe. One of my subtopics was can people tell what language a word  is from without speaking the language? I did an experiment that I had four people do  the first five word of different languages and then the next four I had to the last five and see what the result was. Most people knew French, Spanish and German which was a prediction of mine because English is the hardest language to learn and French, Spanish and German are the easiest languages to learn. Another one was do people from one language bracket learn a different language in a different bracket? I found that it can happen but it's not as easy and French and Spanish in a different bracket then English. If we wanted to learn a second language we should learn should be either Dutch, German, or Scandinavian because they are all in the Germanic bracket with English. The last of my subtopics is is it easier to lean a fourth bracket language rather than a second or third bracket language for a second language? It seems that it is easier to learn a third bracket language and most languages are third bracket languages.
